When we did leave, at 2 in the afternoon, we first picked up the kids and then drove to Bunratty where the exploration dome is set up. We arrived at about 4:30 and I was introduced to the dome and their workstyle. I then ate a bit with the family and walked around the park a bit so i would know the location of everything should anyone ask. I then helped them a bit with the work after which we left for home.
At home i played some games with the family and then went to sleep.
I had to get used to the Irish culture a bit. I myself am not used to christmas celebration and it is quite extreme over here. Houses are dressed up, people are dressed up and there is a christmas mood all around.
I also found out that in Ireland, kids need to wear uniforms to school. This is idea is completely strange to me and the kids look kinda ridiculous. The girls wear a long skirt with sweater and tie on op and the boys wear the same on top but pants underneath. Even the shoes are all the same.
The park where the dome is set up is part of Shannon heritage, this is done so that the things from history can survive. There is a festival at most Shannon heritage site throughout the year.
So even if i didn't work much yesterday, I did get in contact with the Irish culture.
